Does tn5250 compile for you?  x5250 doesn't use SSL itself, tn5250 (really 
lib5250.so) does.  If tn5250 doesn't compile, neither will x5250.  x5250 
uses lib5250.so for all communication, so tn5250 has to have been 
installed already.
