Lotus Notes works reasonably well in Wine <http://www.winehq.com> I
understand. In fact I was talking to an IBM support chap after my Linux
User Group meeting this week, and he said they have a Linux desktop
install (customised Red Hat) the has Wine set up to run Notes. I haven't
managed to get it working yet, but haven't spent much time trying. I use
Notes on MS terminal server when I need to, and get my mail via POP3 to
the Evolution client.

As far as editing goes, I use Vim <http://www.vim.org> with syntax files a
few of us have knocked up. Let me know if you're interested. I'm wanting
to try Eclipse once we get to V5R2 as it is supposed to be getting
Code/400 like stuff to deal with RPG.

Regards, Martin
