This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I'm not having much luck with the LP5250D part. When try to start the session it gives me a "socket closed by host" message then quits. The result of this is the device gets varied off. Below is a listing of config for this session and the trace file. I can get display sessions to start fine. Any ideas? Also, I noticed that the documentation which came with the windows installer didn't mention anything about scs2acii or scs2pdf, but I have seen reference to in this the mailing list. How do I use those? Thank you, Aaron My config: printer { host = 10.10.1.1 trace=c:\debug.txt env.DEVNAME=BURTONP2 env.IBMMFRTYPMDL=*HP4 env.IBMMSGQNAME=BURTONP2 env.IMBMSGQLIB=QUSRSYS } Trace file: lp5250d version not implemented, built on May 6 2002 host = 10.10.1.1 Non-Blocking DEVNAME = BURTONP2TRANSFORM = *HP4tn5250_char_map_new: map = "37" HOST, This->status = 8 0 GotVerb(2):<IAC><DO><NEWENV> GotVerb(3):<IAC><DO><NEWENV> HOST, This->status = 8 0 GotVerb(2):<IAC><DO><TERMTYPE> GotVerb(3):<IAC><DO><TERMTYPE> GotSB:<IAC><SB><NEWENV><SEND> <USERVAR>IBMRSEED<27 3C A1 A2 AB B3 55 98> <VAR><USERVAR><IAC><SE> SentSB:<IAC><SB><NEWENV><IS> <VAR>DEVNAME <USERVAR>BURTONP2 <VAR>IBMMFRTYPMDL <USERVAR>*HP4 <VAR>IBMMSGQNAME <USERVAR>BURTONP2 <VAR>IMBMSGQLIB <USERVAR>QUSRSYS <VAR>TERM <USERVAR>IBM-3812-1 <VAR>IBMFONT <USERVAR>12 <VAR>IBMTRANSFORM <USERVAR>1<IAC><SE> GotSB:<IAC><SB><TERMTYPE><SEND><IAC><SE> SentSB:<IAC><SB><TERMTYPE><IS>IBM-3812-1<IAC><SE> HOST, This->status = 8 1 GotVerb(2):<IAC><DO><END_OF_REC> GotVerb(3):<IAC><DO><END_OF_REC> HOST, This->status = 8 1 GotVerb(2):<IAC><WILL><END_OF_REC> GotVerb(3):<IAC><WILL><END_OF_REC> HOST, This->status = 8 1 GotVerb(2):<IAC><DO><BINARY> GotVerb(3):<IAC><DO><BINARY> HOST, This->status = 8 1 GotVerb(2):<IAC><WILL><BINARY> GotVerb(3):<IAC><WILL><BINARY> tn5250_char_map_new: map = "37" Dumping buffer (length=73): @record +0000 004912a0 90000560 060020c0 003d0000 .... .-. .{ . @record +0010 f8f9f3f0 c4c5d3e3 c1404040 00000000 8930DELTA @record +0020 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 @record +0030 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 @record +0040 00000000 00000000 00 @eor
