I don't know if this helps, but there is a redirection monitor ("redmon") for Windows at: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/redmon/ I believe the idea is that you set up a special "printer" port in Windows, and Redmon listens on that port and redirects the output to another program - rather than a printer.
