  • Subject: NIC, can't open display error

I finally had a chance last night to get strace put on my NIC. When I run
`strace xt5250` I only see one error. I'm not very familiar with the strace
output, so I don't know if this is the real problem, or if it's just trying
to look up an error message for something else.

open("/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XtErrorDB", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or
directory)

Would other messages help? Should I look for anything in particular? I got
the latest code from cvs and installed it on my RH 7.0 box to compare the
strace output, but I didn't see any reference to XtErrorDB in it.

TIA!
