Sheesh, ignore the list for a few days, and a lot of stuff piles up.

Okay, let me see if I get this all straight:

1) Enter should be valid in an FER field.
2) Arrow keys should be valid in an FER field, and the arrow keys should
be handled instead of just
   turning off the FER indicator.
3) '+' should be valid in a numeric FER field when the FER indicator is
on, since this is the only
way to do a Field+ from a standard terminal. '-' should be as well,
while I'm at it.
4) Need a direct keyboard mapping for Field+. Note that Field+ and
Field Enter behave differently -
Field Enter does not change the sign of a number-only field (a
numeric field with a separate sign
   position).
5) Issue with Field- always appending a '}'. I'm looking at the code,
and it's coded as if that
were intentional. Sheesh, that's pretty weird, I KNOW that's not how
it's supposed to work
(Jay goes looking for his `cvsblame' script - Hmm, Mike Madore did
the original line, but I did
the shifting of the rest of the field data one cell to the left.
Weird.)
6) And, from looking at the code, Field+ won't change the sign of a
zone-shifted numeric field back.
I think it's a moot point, since pressing Field Enter would truncate
the sign - Bah! Unless it's
   an FER field.

I'll probably get a chance to do all this this evening (no promises).
It all looks like simple stuff
that I can handle even though I can't really test it (I'll post a patch
for others to test).
