System Request menu unavailable -- LINUX5250

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Hi

The CVS version appears to have lost the ability to get the SysRq menu when the 
system is busy (X System displayed).
Ctrl-c works fine at other times.

I noticed this several weeks back, but my emails to the list haven't got 
through - Our email gateway is adding extra detail to the from address, 
invalidating my posts :-( - so I'm trying again with a new address.
