  • Subject: Asdbget and International characters

Hi all,

I am interested in using asdbget with International characters (namely Greek),
so I hacked asdbget and changed
the e2a table in the program, to use the 875 translation table which works fine
(meaning that the resulting file
contains correctly translated greek characters).
The problem arises when I try to display the file into a browser, where I get
the following error:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet.
Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
An Invalid character was found in text content. Line 64, Position 26
    <DATUM NAME="AKAJT1">????</DATUM>
-------------------------^

If I do the same with a file wich was downloaded without the translation table,
It works fine.

Any Ideas ???

PS, I have created a "generic" XSL file wich can be used to display the data,
If anyone cares to use it here it is:
