Hi, For the adventurous, I've hacked together my first attempt at a 5250 printing daemon. This is a separate program called lp5250d, and is in the CVS version of the code. Here is an example invocation: lp5250d -s MMPRN01 -T "*HP4" -s "scs2ascii | lpr" myas400 If everything goes well, the program will put itself into the background, and establish a printer session with the 400. Notice that the host transform is in quotes. Otherwise bash interprets the *. Once the major bugs have been worked out, I plan on removing the printing functionality from the tn5250 program.
