FWIW, we create .csv format files on the AS/400, grab them with FTP and feed them into Excel. We use an old News/400 program called CPYTORMTF to create the .csv but I believe there's a CPYTOIMPF in V4R3+ that does the same thing. > > I'm about to embark on a project where I'll need to update a database on > Linux periodically with data from the AS/400.
