The reason I figure I should start following it relates to the kicking around of ideas earlier on the list about merging lib5250 with the functionality from a tn3270 emulator. The idea has come up a few more times in other places since then. I'm undecided as to whether it will be worth the effort, or even how much effort it would be, but it has the potential for saving a lot of duplication of effort and doubling the number of developers :) > > Alex > I've recently come to the conclusion that eliminating duplication of effort in free software is more necessary than I previously thought, since I've noticed there aren't as many of us free software developers as I previously thought. We just try to work smarter and have a larger base to start with :) These are ideas I'm considering for the long term. -Jay 'Eraserhead' Felice +--- | This is the LINUX5250 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to LINUX5250@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to LINUX5250-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to LINUX5250-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
