A field can have 'auto-enter' turned on so that when the user exits the field the screen will behave as if the 'Enter' key has been pressed. This is typically not set. Mike Fee "Lawrence E. Bartash" <lawbar@5of5.com> wrote: First let me say WOW! This is great! I have tn5250-13.2 working on a Redhat 6.0 dist Finally got the Xdefaults set and now all my function keys work. At least in xterm anyway, I have not tested the console yet. Most of the AS400's screens have Option: __ This is where the user can enter the number of the menu choice. When you enter the choice, as soon as you finish entering the number of places given, the entry is auto executed without hitting the ENTER key! That seems to be the default behaviour on our terminals and commercial PC client access at our site. The tn5250 does not do this, however, it does work properly when the ENTER key is pressed. Is this the default behaviour, or can it be modified, or is it a bug?
