The nice thing about regular expressions is that there
are so many different types (they usually have most syntax and concepts 
in common but some differences). 
For example, Perl, sed, awk, grep, Java all have regular expression 
syntaxes.

When you do your google seach, be sure to add "quick reference" to it.
Also, I've found the O'Reilly pocket references to be really good and it
looks like they've got one for regular expressions. I haven't read it, 
but...
