Guys, I have installed linux on PC, which includes CVS. Using this default installation of linux, I want to setup a repository that resides on the as400's IFS, so that the repository will be included in our nightly backup. I have used SAMBA to setup a mount to a directory on the IFS. When I run cvs -d /home/cvs/repository init to setup the repository, I get verious errors regarding permissions, then an io error on a file .#2918. The strange thing is, when I look in the directory on the 400, I can actually see the .#2918 file. The file does exist though, because if I do a DSPAUT I can see the authorities on the file. Does anyone know if its even possible to do what im trying to do, and if so what im doing wrong. cheers Colin.W This e-mail has been sent by a company of Bertram Group Ltd, whose registered office is 1 Broadland Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0WF.
