I think it will always complete normally as the code as written will swallow any errors with the catch exeption routine ..
If you put that line i mentioned in the code and then check the joblog hopefully you'll get an idea of what is actually going wrong .

the Java Shell Display comes up and it says Java program completed.
When I run the old version, this also happens, but the e-mail is delivered to my inbox.
