Java 7 had TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2 out of the box. They need to change the sslprotocol (exact casing of sslprotocol is connector dependent) in their connector and then bounce Tomcat.

Subject: Tomcat on AS/400 -- TLS levels supported with Java 7 on a V7R2 box
Importance: Low

We've got a customer who's just had TLS 1.0 support flagged as a security vulnerability, with Tomcat 7, running under Java 7, on a V7R2 box.

Does anybody know, off hand, if Java 7 on a V7R2 box can handle a more current TLS level, with more current ciphers?
