I've never used that environment variable, but is it possible that it's writing Unicode?

Hello Group,

I am trying to call java method from RPGLE. At times it will bomb and I
tried capturing the error using QIBM_RPG_JAVA_EXCP_TRACE environment
variable in a IFS file. I can see file getting populated but characters are
junk... I tried setting up the CCSID of job to 37/65535 and did not
help... any ideas whats going wrong?
