Fast, clean, proprietary (IBM).
Or, maybe, the Client Access's java integration classes, but I think
that they are a "single user" - simplified version of Host on Demand ones.

If your business needs doesn't match HOD ...
... take a look to
    tn5250[j]
or
    Open legacy
they cover the 5250 "emulation" quite well.
JTOpen covers the other aspects of AS/400 interface.
