Folks:

I know it's possible to run a Java app on the i using an AS400 object using user id & password '*CURRENT' to use the current users information.

Does anyone know if it's possible to establish a JDBC connection, either using a URL or AS400JDBConnectionPoolDataSource, using '*CURRENT' (or something similar)?

If not ... any suggestions on how this might be accomplished? Ideally I would like to pass the connection pool data source an AS400 object (which is using *CURRENT for user id & password) so I don't have to specify an actual userid & password.

Thanks!

david
