I suspect that our localhost:10 is currently unresponsive. If you have
your DISPLAY variable pointing to a valid responding address, I would not
expect a failure.

I have a DISPLAY environment variable, but I thought it was for my
experiments with XWindows, which is not Microsoft Windows. It's a
little surprising that Java knows anything about that. My POI 3.11
classes don't care about it. I need to do some tinkering I guess...
