I have a Jenkins server running on a Windows system for building and deploying Java artifacts on our IBMi systems. We’ve had some trouble with SSH and SCP connections. Both connections are using only passwords and not keys. I’d like to keep it that way for simplicity sake. Upgrading the OpenSSH plugin and using Java8 solved the SSH connection issues but SCP connections still fail. The error on the IBMi side is below.

From . . . : QSECOFR 03/02/16 10:39:26
sshd[764]: fatal: ssh_dispatch_run_fatal: Connection to 10.31.23.50: no
matching key exchange method found

Is there something I need to do on the IBMi side to make this SCP connection work?

Thanks,
Todd Allen
