HOpefully quick easy question for some java experts

I have some knowledge of using java on the IBM i and have
used some 3rd party java library to do a few things.



Now I have a 3rd party java library from a company where the
support stuff does not know what an AS400 is let alone IBM
i.

Apparently they are saying their java library requires their
ini file.



My question is - will JVM on 6.1 handle ini files? If yes
where would I place the ini file so that the java
jar/class/methods finds the ini file?



Sorry if my java lingo is not correct, but as I said I am
fairly new with java.
