The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

What does appletviewer say when trying to run web page containing the
applet?
Note that the recommended way to embed applets have changed over the years.
You might need to adjust your HTML (especially if you use the javascript
magic to detect anything)
Generally it is nice to see the output on the Java Console when Java for
some reason does not work correctly. You can enable it in Control Panel
-> Java -> Advanced.

Subject: Problem with installer applet
Anybody here good with Java browser applets?
Among the many ways to install our flagship product, QuestView(tm), we have
a browser applet on our web site.
The only problem is that about the only browser I can get it to run in is
Imploder 8 on my WinDoze box.
I've found that Chrome 33 on my Mac TRIES to run it, but fails. Most other
browsers don't even try.
