Given an SQL table with longer-than-10-character field names:
If I open the file in QuestView (which uses QUSLFLD, QDBRTVFD, and so
forth, to retrieve the meta-data on the file), it gives me "shortened"
field names, e.g., "STANDARDCHARGE" becomes "STAND00001"
How would I obtain the "shortened" field names via JDBC, and in
particular, through an extension to Scott Klement's JDBCR4?
Incidentally, is there a maximum length for SQL column names?
