Looks like it's showing you what to do :-)

Run the Java command line as shown.

subject: Question about running a Java Class

I've been posting in RPG400-L about getting PDFbox running.

Ultimately I'd like to be able to use the ExtractText class in batch. I don't need any capabilities that I need to code it in RPG.

The documentation from PDFBox shows this:

usage: java -jar pdfbox-app-x.y.z.jar ExtractText [OPTIONS] <PDF file> [Text file]

Is there a way to get this to run using the JAVA command or QSH? My JAR file is in /JavaPDF/pdfbox-1.6.0.jar.
