David,
I'm not sure it would go through an exit point since you are already on the system. I don't really know but wouldn't the Java method be akin to using the Generate Profile Token APIs?
But then again the Signon Server (Exit point QIBM_QZSO_SIGNONSRV format ZSOY0100) has requested functions for
X'7007' Generate authentication token
X'7008' Generate authentication token on behalf of another user
So maybe the method will hit the sign on server.

Subject: Exit point tripped when generating a ProfileTokenCredential?
Folks:
Does anyone know what exit point would be triggered when a java application requests a ProfileTokenCredential from an AS400 object (using the getProfileToken method)?
Thanks!
david
