This user had a password assigned to it. I didn't try a user with NO
password.

Did that user Id have a password Richard? And if os, was it different
from the id?
I'm trying to do this on V6.1 with a supposedly full PTF load.
Scott Klement was able to (mostly) get it going on his V5R4 machine but
hit a few inconsistencies. I'm hoping IBM support will come up with
something tomorrow.
