Has anyone done any benchmarking, or has any experience or recommendations on what is best to use? We currently support the Classic JDK 5.0 and the J2SE 5.0 32 bit. I am wondering if there is an advantage to the 64 bitThe advantage is providing for large heaps. As I understand it there is no other difference. Unfortunately this comes at a price as all references go from 32-bit to 64-bit, so solely by switching the heap grows by 30% or so.
