Hi, James --

What symptoms are you seeing (including any stack trace)? It might help to
turn on tracing in the toolkit, depending on what the stack trace shows.

Is it possible that the new iSeries is exposing another IP address and the
Linux server is trying to take some route the new iSeries that is blocked by
a firewall?

Please let me know if you need help turning on tracing in the toolkit.

Gary

Subject: Toolbox not connecting!

We just transferred production to our new V6 box, and almost everything
works.

With the exception of a Java program, running under Tomcat 5, on our
Linux web server, which establishes a toolbox connection to call a
program.

All the Host Servers are up.

The user profile it uses to connect exists.

If I do a WRKTCPSTS *CNN, none of the Host Servers ports are showing any
activity at all.

It was working before, and we swapped internal IP addresses between the
old and new production boxes. Everything else seems to connect just fine
to the new box.

Any ideas?
