No need to recreate anything, but you need an Enterprise Application Project if you want it to run in the Websphere Test environment.

Just rightclick in your Project Explorer and select New-->Enterprise Application Project and follow the wizard. At some point you will be able to select you dynamic web project as a web module for your ear. You may even have several ears associated with your web module if you so wish.

Good luck.

I hope I am missing something obvious. I have a dynamic web project that
has no associated EAR. I want to add the project to a defined server for
testing but it is not available for selection. Please tell me that I don't
need to have an EAR file for simple web applications to test in Webspehre
Studio. I'd rather not recreate the whole project just to associate an
EAR.
It is WDSc, version 7.
