Hello All,
Just curious to see how others are handling JPA aggregate queries. Do you
create a separate summary type of object? Put it in an object array into a
list?
Example:
Query query = em.createQuery("SELECT c.id, c.description,
COUNT(i.item_number) FROM Category c, Item i WHERE c.id = i.category_id
GROUP BY c.id, c.description);
// Object Array
List<Object[]> result = (List<Object[]>) query.getResultList();
Or create a CategoryItemSummary POJO and just put the results in there?
Thanks in advance,
