I didn't drop off the earth, but spent the past week learning a lot about
Java. Using an IDE (Eclipse) helped immensely. In short, I have three
different versions of the program:
1. using ProgramCall
2. using ProgramCallDocument (PCML)
3. using JDBC and stored procedures

The JDBC has the least amount of code and was easy to work with. The
ProgramCall and ProgramCallDocument had more code, mainly due to type
conversions. A nice thing about JDBC is it removes one from "needing to
know" about all the IBM i stuff.

In a couple of days I'll post the code so others can see a comparison of the
different call types. It was very interesting and enlightening.
