The problem I'm having is that each element in the String[] contains the key-value pair as one string.

For example:
Element1 ==> data.ID=1234
Element 2 ==> data.name = someName
Element 3 ==> data.value = somevalue
. . .

I need to load the properites as
Key Value
Data.ID 1234
Data.name someName
Data.value someValue

. . .

I've a set of key-value pairs that is being passed to me as String[]. Is
there a easy way to load this String[] into a Properties object?

Properties is just a decorated HashMap, so call put(key, value) for each
key-value pair.
