One last question on this topic.
I have done a bunch of reading about generics to try to understand this. I
can's say I totally understand it yet, but it appears as if I have 2
solutions.
I can change the Order interface to:
public interface Order<T extends OrderLine> {
// Other getters and setters
public void setOrderLine(List<T> orderLines);
}
Or I could just cast as I was doing in the implementation.
Which would be the preferred method?
I like the type safety of the Order<T extends OrderLine>, but something just
doesn't look right. Should an Order have a generic type of OrderLines?
Thanks in advance,
James R. Perkins
