Sounds about right to me, however I think it was 1999. You could say in
the 1999-2000 timeframe since it's come a long way in today's
environments :-)

subject: When was Java first introduced on the i?

Hi

I am writing a spec for some work that is using Java, and I just
wondered how long has Java actually been available on the i?

I think its about 2000, possibly earlier V4R2 time? Does that sound
right?

Thanks

Neill
