Betreff: Calling Java programs from System i

We have java programs written in java technnology runnning in Websphere application server. The java programs connect an external web services and get the data to java web applications.

We have a integration challenge where we need to call the java programs running on websphere application data. How can we achieve this?

We tried an option to deploy the entire Java application in System i also and invoke java programs using RPG ILE. It  works fine, but we do not want to deploy entire java application running on websphere on as/400 again. Is there a simpler solution to achieve this?
