I did test this this morning and had to make some changes to the
iSeries SMTP server to get it to work.

iSeries Navigator > smtp properties...

In the SMTP relay restrictions tab - I used accept relay messages
from the list below and put the IP address and Subnet mask of the PC running
the app.

Then I used my iSeries name SXXXXXXX as the smtp server and it
started delivering messages.

I have also tested this with the following SMTP servers..

Lotus
Exchange
Sendmail
and now iSeries (V5R2M0)

I guess the question would be what are you using for your SMTP host name?
Are you using the local i5 SMTP host?

I get a little gray in this area, but there are some settings you have to
change if you want to the i5 SMTP server to relay to another.
