Sorry Guys....

It looks like there was a simple answer after all.

There is a runCommand method on the AS400File object which can be used to
change the library list.

I'll pay closer attention to the javadoc next time.

Thanks

Neill

Subject: Setting the Library List for the AS400 connection object.

Hello

I am using Record Level access to read records from a file and specifying
%LIBL% as the library to find the file.

If this works it will be exactly what I need, however I can't figure out how
to set the library list of the AS400 connection object.

I was hoping there would be something like,

AS400 con = new AS400("MACHINE");

con.setLibraryList(myLibList);

But there doesn't seem to be a method to set the library list.

Is there any way I can control the library list other than job descriptions
attached to user profiles?

Thanks

Neill
