HiNotepad doesn't like Ctrl-J's on its own (which is what the default is under Unix, which the Java environment behaves like under OS/400), but only Ctrl-M+Ctrl-J's.
Does anybody know of any problems with the new line functionality when
writing a text file with a buffered writer.
Using the code below when I open the file with notepad it doesn't have the
new line in it. i.e. the text is all one line like this:
