I want to get the change date of a file by JT400. I tried the FileAttributes
Class and the getChangeDate method. The problem I see is that this method
returns the change date of the DSPOBJD. And this date is only refreshed
after a save :-( So how can I get a current change date by JT400?

How about using ObjectDescription?

ObjectDescription od = new ObjectDescription(as400, path);
od.refresh();
Object chgDate = od.getValue(ObjectDescription.CHANGE_DATE);
