We are running Tomcat on a small iSeries with some performance "challenges". We want to proactively find, display, and alert users and admins in terms of their System i java related performance configurations. We want to do this programatically from the iSeries Servlets/jsps.

So the question is, how and what is the best way to get at: CPW (processor speed), RAM/memory available, subsystem pool, and other KEY java performance considering they may be lpar'ed.

We then want to compare these runtime performance configurations with the recommended to inform and alert the users.

THanks, Paul Holm
