It's not clear to me just which version of Java you're using. Do you
have the JAVA_HOME environment variable set to
'/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk50/32bit' or are you using the
original 64-bit JVM?

AFAIK, this is not the case when using the JITC compiler.
