Re: Localhost corrupted when contacting SMTP server with javamail

Something strange happened when I restarted websphere after adding a
java.awt.headless=true in the customized properties of JVM.

The applications running on the system i send emails through javamail 1.3.

The code is like that :
mailProps = System.getProperties();
mailProps.put("mail.smtp.host", serveurSmtpProvider);
mailProps.put("mail.smtp.auth", "true");
mailProps.put("mail.smtp.localhost", monAdresseIP);
PasswordAuthentication pa = new PasswordAuthentication(profil,
motdepasse);
Session mailSession = Session.getInstance(mailProps, new
SmtpAuthenticator());

It has been working perfectly since eons.

Since I restarted websphere, the SMTP server refuses the connection,
because it receives a host name
wich is like "theNameOfMyPreviousAS400@myDomainName".
So I see in the debug :
EHLO "theNameOfMyPreviousAS400@myDomainName" invalid domain name.

The same java classes running from my PC with the test server embedded in
WDSC work fine,
the smtp server replies as expected :
EHLO "monAdresseIP" pleased to meet you and processes the email.
I've checked everything I thought of : the host table, the domain name,
Apache and Websphere configuration...
Nothing looking like this unexpected host address.

Thanks in advance for any hint you can provide, I'm getting a big headache
here...
