Yes, extensively. Works fine.

I suppose you'd put the log file in the IFS?

Yes, but you could probably write your own log adapter if you want to
put the log file elsewhere (like a db). I seem to remember seeing an
adapter to put log entries in message or data queues... check
SourceForge to see if it's there.
