Hello,

Im java programmer and my developer envoirenment its windows. I use the
netbeans ide to write my apps

I have a connection to as/400 using the IBM toolbox for java provided by
IBM, that works very fine.

But now i have a client , that ask me for a application that run in OS/400
envoirenment. My question is : How can i connect to the DB2 in as/400 when
the app run inside the As/400. We have to use The ToolBox for java ? or we
have other/better options (Native Drivers)?

I have a simple helloworld.class in as/400 that runs fine, but when i try to
run another simple class that connect to DB2 using the toolbox i receive
serveral error messages. Its probably a envoirenment variable problem, i
dont know.....

Can someone explain me step by step , what i must configure to connect
fine an java .class running inside as/400 to its Database ?

If possible, please, to send me a simple class or method that connect to
database.

Best regards in advance
