Does anyone know if and where the jssecacerts should go when using a
private ca with a java application running on the System i?

Actually, at this point I would be happy if I could get Java on the
System i to recognize and use the jssecacerts file at all.

I installed the private CA with the following command ...
cd /qibm/proddata/java400/jdk14
bin/keytool -import -alias privateca -keystore lib/security/jssecacerts
-file /home/devdmg/certificate.der

... which created the jssecacerts file. In case it made a difference, I
changed the ownership on the jssecacerts file to QSYS.

My application works fine when running on Windows ... I have a private
JRE and the private CA cert is installed in jre/lib/security/jssecacerts.

Any suggestions on what might be going wrong here?

Thanks!

david
