Bill,
We run most of our Java stuff (ant and hibernate) in i5/OS so I don't have much experience of running Java applications in PASE. Is there a reason you want to run Ant and Hibernate within PASE rather than just with in JVM in i5/OS?

I don't if there is a JVM installed within PASE. This infocenter article seems to indicate there is:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/index.jsp?topic=/rzaha/rzahapaseexmplsmain.htm

If there isn't you'd need a JVM that runs on AIX and install that in PASE.

Hi

Does anyone have any experience running Ant and Hibernate in the qsh environment, natively on the AS400?

Can you point me to any links?

Searching InfoCenter (V5R4) leads me to think that ant is not installed in PACE out of the box. Is that right?

THanks all
