Use the DataQueue exists method like so:

String path = QSYSObjectPathName.toPath("QTEMP","RPG2JAVA", "DTAQ");
DataQueue rPG2javaDtaq = new DataQueue(as400, rPG2javaDtaqP);
if (rPG2javaDtaq.exists() == false) {
rPG2javaDtaq.create(1000);
}

I have create a data queue in QTEMP library
so i do the following

QSYSObjectPathName.toPath("QTEMP","RPG2JAVA", "DTAQ");
DataQueue rPG2javaDtaq = new DataQueue(as400,
rPG2javaDtaqP);
rPG2javaDtaq.create(1000);

I want to check if this object already exist before
creating it, how can i do it ,
