Hello, I was looking for a better way to control the version of the JVM loaded by my RPG programs that use JNI so I wouldn't have to check for and/or manipulate the SystemDefault.properties file or setup an environment variable. I ran across this APAR: SE10792 http://www-912.ibm.com/n_dir/nas4apar.nsf/042d09dd32beb25d86256c1b004c3f 9a/d48c9ff40dd6b69786256d67003c9a0a?OpenDocument&Highlight=2,java.versio n It mentions being able to pass the java.version option to JNI_CreateJavaJVM as a way to circumvent the normal process of checking the properties file and environment variables. However, I have not seen an example of how that is actually done. I imagine I am just not looking in the right place or searching for the right terms. I have looked through the ILE RPG Programmer's Guide, searched Google, etc and haven't had any luck. Can anyone here recommend or direct me to a good place for more detailed information about this topic?
