Rick, I was just about to suggest this. I had a similar problem recently when attempting to print to a ZPL language printer from Java. The problem was finally solved by changing some settings on the windows printer properties. IIRC, the driver for this particular printer was set to "Generic / Text Only". What printer type/language are you using? The code I used was very similar to the example posted by "magne" in a previous post, except I used String.getBytes() instead of InputStream to create the document. Carl.
